Here's what this series is actually about.

Some seasons, God feels close. You catch Him in the ordinary: a cup of coffee going cold while you sit with a verse, a moment in the carpool line that somehow turns into a prayer, a song that finds you when you didn't know you needed it. You feel held.

And then there are the other seasons. The ones where you pray and the ceiling feels like concrete. Where the silence stretches long enough that you start wondering if something is wrong with you. Or with Him.

Both of those seasons are real. Both are named in Scripture. And both, I believe this with everything in me, lead somewhere good.

This series holds them together. Not to fix the silence or manufacture the nearness, but to help us learn to live awake in both. One reading a day. A scripture, some honest reflection, a prayer you can actually say.
