The Most Honest Book in the Bible

The Psalms were not written by people who had it together. They were written by people in exile, in hiding, in grief, in wonder, in confusion, in joy so large it needed music and in despair so deep the words barely came.

The church has always known that something happens when you pray the Psalms. Not because they are polished or theologically tidy, but because they are true. They give language to the things you have felt but could not say. They show you that the full range of human experience, including the parts you thought you had to hide from God, is not only welcome in His presence but already written into His Word.

You do not need to have your faith sorted to begin. You just need to show up. He will meet you in the Psalm that finds you.

What to Expect
