Prayer After Occult and
New Age Involvement

A lot of people came to Jesus from backgrounds that included things they are now ashamed of. Horoscopes. Tarot cards. Crystals. Reiki. Channeling. Ouija boards. Seances. Astrology. Meditation practices that emptied the mind instead of filling it with God. If that is you, hear this clearly. You are not disqualified. You are not permanently marked. But you do need to close every door you opened, because the spirit realm does not treat those things as harmless. They were invitations. And invitations get answered. This prayer closes every single one.

Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that You alone are God. There is no other. No spirit, no force, no energy, no power compares to You or operates outside of Your authority. Jesus is Lord over everything, and I submit every area of my life to Him right now.

Lord, I thank You that Your Word says in 1 John 1:9 that if I confess my sins, You are faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I stand on that promise. I am not beyond Your reach. I am not too far gone. You found me, and You saved me, and I am grateful.

Father, I confess and repent of every involvement I had with the occult, witchcraft, New Age practices, and anything that opened a door to the kingdom of darkness. I name them specifically, and I renounce each one.

I repent of astrology and horoscopes. I repented of looking to the stars for guidance instead of looking to You. I renounce every zodiac reading, every birth chart, every prediction I received or believed. I declare that my guidance comes from the Holy Spirit, not the stars.

I repent of tarot cards, oracle cards, and any form of divination. I renounce every reading I received, every card I pulled, every message I accepted from those sources. I close every door those practices opened in my life. In the name of Jesus.

I repent of involvement with crystals, energy healing, Reiki, chakra work, and any practice that claims to manipulate spiritual energy apart from the Holy Spirit. I renounce every belief system that taught me to look within myself for power instead of looking to God. I sever every connection to those practices right now.

I repent of seances, Ouija boards, spirit guides, channeling, automatic writing, and any attempt to communicate with the dead. I renounce every spirit that responded to those invitations. I close every doorway I opened through those practices. I command every familiar spirit assigned to me through those activities to leave me now, in the name of Jesus.

I repent of witchcraft, spells, hexes, curses, and any attempt to manipulate people or situations through supernatural means. I renounce every spell I cast, every curse I spoke, every ritual I performed. I ask for Your forgiveness, Lord, and I cancel every effect those things had on my life and on the lives of others.

I repent of New Age meditation, transcendental meditation, mindfulness practices rooted in Eastern mysticism, and any spiritual discipline that empties the mind rather than filling it with the Word of God. I renounce every spirit that entered through those practices. I close those doors now.

I repent of Freemasonry, Eastern Star, and any secret society or order that involves oaths, rituals, or allegiances contrary to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. I renounce every vow I took and every obligation I incurred. I break every tie and every covenant in the name of Jesus.

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I break every demonic assignment that was activated through my involvement in these practices. Every spirit of deception, every familiar spirit, every spirit of divination, every spirit of witchcraft, every spirit of fear, every spirit of oppression. I command you to leave me right now. You have no legal ground. I have repented. I have renounced. I have closed the door. Go, and do not return. In the name of Jesus.

I cancel every curse, hex, or spell that was ever placed on me or that I placed on myself through occult involvement. I break every generational connection to witchcraft and the occult in my family line. I renounce every dedication, every offering, every altar that was ever built or participated in by me or my ancestors. The blood of Jesus covers it all, and the enemy has no more claim.

I reclaim every piece of my mind, my emotions, my will, and my spirit that I gave away through these practices. I take back my thoughts, my dreams, my sleep, my peace, my relationships, and my destiny. I seal all of it with the blood of Jesus. Nothing that belongs to me remains in the hands of the enemy. It is all covered. It is all sealed. It is all His.

Father, I do not want to be empty. Jesus said in Matthew 12 that an empty house gets reoccupied by worse spirits. So I ask You now, fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, come. Fill every room of my heart. Fill my mind. Fill my body. Fill my home. Occupy every space that was ever given to darkness. You are welcome here. You are Lord here. Stay. Lead me. Guard me. Keep me close to Jesus every single day.

Father, I thank You that every door is closed. Every chain is broken. Every assignment is cancelled. I walk away from the occult, from the New Age, from every practice that dishonored You, and I walk into the light of Christ. I am not who I was. I am a new creation. The old is gone. The new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17.

I seal this prayer in the blood of Jesus Christ, and I give God all the glory.

In the mighty, matchless, and powerful name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
