Prayer for
Deliverance

"For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the Kingdom of the Son He loves." , Colossians 1:13

This prayer is for anyone who feels bound by something they cannot name, something they cannot shake, something that keeps pulling them back. You are not crazy. You are not too far gone. And you do not have to fight this alone. Jesus already won this fight. This prayer is you enforcing what He already accomplished.

How to pray this: Read it out loud. Your voice carries authority in the spirit. If a section does not apply to you, skip it. If one lands heavy on your heart, stay there and pray it again. There is no wrong way to pray this as long as you are praying it in faith and in the name of Jesus.

Father, I come to You right now in the name of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that You are God and I am not. I acknowledge that Jesus died for me, rose from the dead, and sits at Your right hand with all authority over every power, every principality, and every name that is named. I stand on that authority right now. Not my own. His.

Lord, I thank You that Your Word says in Colossians 1:13 that You have already rescued me from the dominion of darkness and transferred me into the Kingdom of Your Son. That is not a hope. That is a done deal. I receive it right now by faith.

Father, I repent of every sin that has given the enemy a foothold in my life. Every known sin and every unknown sin. Every door I opened willingly and every door I did not even know I opened. I repent of pride, of rebellion, of unforgiveness, of sexual sin, of idolatry, of occult involvement, of every agreement I made with darkness, whether I was aware of it or not. I repent now, in the name of Jesus.

I renounce every covenant, every vow, every dedication, every assignment of the enemy over my life, my mind, my body, my family, my finances, and my destiny. I break every agreement I made with the kingdom of darkness, and I cancel every legal right the enemy has tried to claim over me. The blood of Jesus speaks better than every accusation. I side with the blood of Jesus right now.

I forgive every person who has ever wounded me, betrayed me, abused me, abandoned me, or spoken a curse over my life. I release them. I refuse to carry unforgiveness any longer. I choose to forgive, and I ask You, Father, to heal every place in me that still bleeds from what they did. In the name of Jesus.

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I break every chain of addiction over my life. Every chain of fear, anxiety, depression, and torment. Every chain of generational sin passed down through my bloodline. Every spirit of infirmity, every spirit of heaviness, every spirit of confusion. I command you to leave me right now in the name of Jesus.

I break every soul tie that is not ordained by God. Every ungodly connection, every emotional bond that was formed in sin, every relationship that was assigned by the enemy to derail my destiny. I sever those ties now by the blood of Jesus. I reclaim every piece of my soul that I gave away, and I seal it with the blood of Jesus.

I rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, divination, familiar spirits, seduction, manipulation, control, and deception operating against my life. I cancel every curse, every hex, every spell, every word curse spoken over me knowingly or unknowingly. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against me in judgment is condemned. That is the Word of God, and I stand on it. Isaiah 54:17.

I declare that I am free. Not almost free. Not working toward freedom. Free. The Son has set me free, and I am free indeed. John 8:36. I walk out of this prayer as a delivered person, not a person trying to get delivered. It is finished.

I put on the full armor of God right now. The belt of truth around my waist. The breastplate of righteousness over my heart. The gospel of peace on my feet. The shield of faith in my hand to extinguish every flaming arrow. The helmet of salvation on my mind. The sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, in my mouth. I am armed. I am covered. I am not defenseless. Ephesians 6:11 through 17.

I fill this space, my body, my mind, my home, with the presence of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, fill me afresh right now. Take every vacant place in me and occupy it. I do not want to be empty. I want to be full of You. Fill me, lead me, and keep me close.

Father, I thank You that You heard me. I thank You that the chains are broken, the doors are closed, and the enemy has no more legal ground. I thank You that greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. First John 4:4. I walk in that truth from this moment forward.

I seal this prayer in the blood of Jesus Christ, and I give God all the glory.

In the mighty, matchless, and powerful name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Amen.
