Stillness does not come naturally to most of us. We are far more comfortable doing, fixing, and striving than simply being.
Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to equate movement with faithfulness. But Scripture tells a quieter story.
"Be still, and know that I am God."
Psalm 46:10
Stillness is not passivity: it is trust. It is the choice to stop grasping for control and rest in who God already is.
